Golf Team Third Entering Final Round

The Clemson golf team shot a 286 and sits five strokes back of leader Wake Forest heading into the final round of the 2003 ACC Tournamentat the Old North State Club at Uwharrie Point. Senior D.J. Trahan bounced back from an opening round 77 to shoot a team-best 68 on Saturday. Wake Forest leads all teams with a 1-under-par 575 followed by North Carolina (576) and Clemson (580). The Tournament will conclude with 18 holes on Sunday.
