CLEMSON S.C. – The No. 19/15 Clemson Tigers (10-4, 2-4 ACC) will hit the road as they travel up to New York to play the No. 1 Syracuse Orange (13-0, 6-0 ACC) on Saturday, April 8 at 2:00 p.m. Due to a Monster Truck event at JMA Wireless Dome, the game will be played at Cicero-North Syracuse High School. The game will be streamed live on ACCNX and live stats will be available here.

Clemson is coming off of a big 19-8 conference win over Louisville on Saturday, April 1. Ten different Tigers scored on Saturday, six of which scored multiple times. Clemson’s two leading scorers, Gianna New and Hanna Hilcoff,  both scored their 40th goals of the season. Goalie Emily Lamparter played all 60 minutes in the cage and came away with nine saves, including four saves off of free position shots. Head Coach Allison Kwolek returned to the sidelines for the first time after a brief two game absence as she underwent treatment for Breast Cancer.

Syracuse is coming off of a 21-9 win over No. 12 Virginia. The undefeated Orange was named the No. 1 team in the country for the third straight week. Syracuse has four strong offensive weapons in Meaghan Tyrrell with 31 goals and 35 assists, Emma Ward with 18 goals and 39 assists, Megan Carney with 40 goals and Emma Tyrrell with 32 goals. Goalie Delaney Sweitzer has played the majority of minutes and has registered 106 saves and a .558 save percentage. The Orange have accumulated three offensive and four defensive ACC players of the week, namely Attacker Meaghan Tyrrell (2), Attacker Emma Ward (1) and Goalie Delaney Sweitzer (4).
