CLEMSON, S.C. – The Clemson Tigers (9-6, 2-6 ACC) will travel up to Pittsburgh, PA to face the Pittsburgh Panthers (5-11, 0-8 ACC) in the final game of the regular season on Thursday, April 18 at 4:00 p.m. The game will be streamed live on ACCNX and live stats will be available here.

Both the Tigers and the Panthers are coming off of ACC losses, with Clemson losing to Syracuse 6-15 and Pitt losing to North Carolina 9-16 last week. Clemson’s Ariana Kline notched herself in history on Saturday, April 13 when she caused her 100th career turnover against Syracuse. Additionally, Emily Lamparter saved seven of the Orange’s 11 free position shots and six different Tigers put the ball in the back of the net.

Pitt was Clemson’s last opponent of the regular season last year as well. In their first meeting in 2023, Clemson came out on top in a dominating 17-7 victory. It was a monumental day for several Tigers as Hanna Hilcoff scored her 50th goal of the season, Ella Little secured her 100th draw control of the season and Emily Lamparter saved her 100th save of the season.

When comparing the two teams in stats this season, Clemson has Pitt beat in goals per game, ground balls per game, draw control percentage, shot percentage, save percentage and clear percentage. While Clemson has outscored their opponents 221 to 154, Pitt has been outscored 193 to 210.

Clemson currently sits as the No. 7 team in the ACC, meanwhile Pitt sits at No. 10. Thursday’s game will determine the final seeding for the ACC Tournament which kicks off on Sunday, April 21.
