Foster Named ACC Women’s Soccer Player of the Week

Clemson’s Courtney Foster was named this week’s Atlantic Coast Conference Women’s Soccer Player of the Week as announced by the league’s office Monday afternoon.

Foster, a midfielder for the Tigers, scored the school’s 14th all-time hat trick with her three goals versus the College of Charleston. The freshman also contributed an assist for seven points in the 6-0 win over the Cougars.

Later in the week, versus No. 5/6 Virginia, the Conyers, Ga., native scored a goal in the Tigers’ 2-1 victory over the Cavaliers.

Clemson enters the ACC Women’s Soccer Championship as the third seed and will face sixth-seeded Maryland on Wednesday, November 5 at 2:30 p.m.
