CLEMSON, SC – Former Clemson guard Terrell McIntyre made a double-pump 35 foot three-point shot at the buzzer to give Unicaja Malaga a 69-68 victory over Real Madrid on March 19 in a Spanish League game. McIntyre’s shot culminated a flurry of three point goals in the last 33 seconds by both teams.
Video of the final 34 seconds has made the rounds on YouTube and has nearly 600,000 views. McIntyre wears #20 in the video.
The former Tiger who helped Clemson to three NCAA Tournament appearances over his career (1995-99), has played in Europe over the last nine years. He was named first-team All-EuroLeague in 2008 and 2009 and was the Playoff MVP in 2009. He has played on the Italian League Championship team four times (2007-10). He led the Italian League in assists in 2008-09.
