Former All-American and 2008 ACC Volleyball Player of the Year Danielle Hepburn has signed a contract to play professional volleyball in France. Hepburn will join the Terville Florange Olympique Club in August. The team is located in Terville, France.
“Playing and coaching at Clemson has made me fall even more in love with volleyball and has prepared me to enjoy every moment of the sport,” said Hepburn. “I have learned to use my playing and practice time w3isely so I can get better everyday. My time at Clemson gave me a lot of special memories, and I am excited that I will be able to build more memories.”
Hepburn will be charged with helping the squad move into the Pro A league in France, the highest level of play in Europe.
Hepburn starred as a middle blocker for Clemson from 2005-08. She was a third-team AVCA All-American as a senior, only the second Tiger ever to earn those honors. She helped Clemson to an ACC title in 2007, as the Tigers went 21-1 in league play. The three-time All-Region performer and All-ACC first-teamer holds school records for total blocks, block assists, hitting percentage, and ranks 8th in kills.
