Floyd, White Honored by ACC

Clemson’s Chrissy Floyd was named first-team All-ACC and Amanda White was named Freshman All-ACC as announced by the Atlantic Coast Sports Media Association Tuesday. This was the second consecutive year that Floyd has been named to the first-team. It is also the fourth time that Floyd has been named to the All-ACC team as she was named second-team All-ACC her freshman and sophomore seasons.

This season, Floyd is averaging 17.6 ppg. She has started all 27 games and is average 36 minutes per game. She leads the team in steals (45) and is second on the squad in assists with 76. Floyd is second on the Clemson career list for most points with 1,908 points.

White leads the Lady Tigers in rebounding with a 6.1 rpg. mark. She also is Clemson’s fourth leading scorer this season with a 6.9 ppg. average. She has started 26 games for the Lady Tigers this season. White is the first freshman to start for the Lady Tigers since 1994.
