Floyd Named ACC Women’s Rookie Of The Week

CLEMSON, S.C. — Clemson women’s basketball player Chrissy Floyd was named ACC Rookie-of-the-Week as announced by the Atlantic Coast Conference Monday afternoon.

Floyd who averaged 13 points a game in the Tigers’ three contests against #15 North Carolina, #3 N.C. State and #11 Duke. The Laurens, SC native shot 47 percent (17-36) from the floor in three games as well, finishing the week with eight steals and six assists. The Lady Tigers finished the week with victories over both North Carolina and N.C. State but dropped a decision to Duke.

Floyd currently leads the Lady Tigers in scoring with a 12.2 ppg. average.
