Tiger hitter Brittany Fennell has been placed on the USA A2 Junior National Volleyball Team and is among six American teams participating in this year’s Global Challenge in Pula, Croatia. View the team’s travel plans here.
The USA Jr. A2 Team had their first training together today in Zuchwil, Switzerland and will play a match vs. the Swiss National Team tomorrow. They are training in Zuchwil with the BIP/USA Development Team until the 19th, and then head to Pula to start competition from the 21-25. Both teams will play two matches against the Swiss National Team, and they will also have a short scrimmage against each other tomorrow morning.
This year’s Global Challenge will begin with Opening Ceremonies on July 19. Competition will take place from July 20-23 and will include twelve teams from six countries.
