FAQs As We Head To The College Football Playoff!

Clemson Fans, thank you for your passionate support throughout the year. We had a great weekend in Charlotte, and fans across the nation saw again your exceptional support of our team. We’re hard at work planning for our trip to the Allstate Sugar Bowl and want to keep you informed through the process. Below are some questions you may have and a few answers. We’ll continue to keep you up-to-date as more information is available.

Can I still order tickets through IPTAY?

No. We’re excited to again provide an opportunity for every IPTAY donor with more than 16 points who made their ticket request prior to the November 30 deadline to purchase at least 2 tickets for the Sugar Bowl through the Clemson Ticket Office. We received requests for more than 16,000 tickets and have 12,491 total tickets available through our allotment. After accounting for staff, band and player-guest tickets, we’ll distribute 10,000 tickets to IPTAY donors. Fans wishing to purchase tickets who either did not meet the request deadline or have fewer than 16 total points can utilize the Sugar Bowl Ticket Exchange through TicketMaster. Ticketmaster is the Official Fan-to-Fan Ticket Exchange of the Allstate Sugar Bowl, and serves as the only resale marketplace able to offer real fans Ticketmaster Verified Tickets.

I requested before the deadline last Thursday, when will I know if my request will be accommodated?

On Sunday afternoon, the ticket office notified all IPTAY donors via email who made a request for the Allstate Sugar Bowl the determined ticket limits, which are also listed below.

We will take requests through Thursday December, 7 at 11:59 p.m. If requests outnumber the allotment, we’ll assign tickets through a lottery. There’s no advantage to requesting early, but all requests must be in by the Thursday, December 7 deadline.

We’ll know the allotment totals and costs by Friday, December 8.  The ticket office will send an email to those who requested a ticket to the Sugar Bowl within 24 hours upon close of the request deadline.
