CLEMSON, S.C. – The 2016 Tigers began fall practice on Friday at Doug Kingsmore Stadium. The team held three practices over that weekend.
First-year head coach Monte Lee welcomes 25 returning lettermen from the 2015 squad, including All-ACC players Chris Okey (C), Reed Rohlman (OF) and Eli White (SS).
“I’m really excited about starting fall practice at Doug Kingsmore Stadium,” said Lee. “I’m eager for our players to compete with each other. Skill-segment work has gone well and our guys are ready to play.
“I’m also excited about evaluating our team in game situations. Our coaching staff is looking forward to establishing our philosophy with the players.”
Fall practice continues through November and concludes with three Orange & Purple scrimmages from November 6-8.
