DURHAM, NC–Fourth ranked Duke defeated 10th ranked Clemson 5-2 in a men’s Atlantic Coast Conference men’s tennis match at Durham, NC Sunday afternoon.
Duke is now 11-3 overall and 3-0 in the ACC. Clemson falls to 17-5 overall and 2-3 in league play.
Clemson registered wins at number two singles as Clement Reix defeated Jonathan Stokke of Duke 2-6, 6-4, 6-2. Brett Twente defeated Stephen Amritrai of Duke at number six singles 3-6, 6-4, 6-0.
Clemson will play host to ACC-foe Virginia Tech on Friday, March 31, in the Tigers’ next action.
