Diving Concludes Day Two at Georgia Tech and Pittsburgh Invitationals

CLEMSON, SC – The Clemson women’s diving team finished day two at the Georgia Tech and Pittsburgh Invitationals competing in the three-meter events. The Tigers will conclude action at both events on Sunday with the platform event.

Chelsea Uranaka led all Tigers and qualified for NCAA Zones at the Georgia Tech Invitational in the three-meter event with a season-high 291.30 in the finals to finish fifth overall. She started the day in the prelims with a 276.20 to finish sixth.

Juliana Melchionda finished seventh overall in the finals at the Pittsburgh Invitational with a score of 256.75. She finished third in the prelims earlier in the day with a season-high score of 267.10 in her first three-meter appearance of the season.

Jessica Resler also made the finals at the Georgia Tech Invitational after finishing eighth in the prelims with a 252.15. She went on to finish eighth overall after recording a career-high score of 254.25 in the finals.

Emily Howard finished 10th in the Pittsburgh Invitational scoring a 246.45 while Megan Helwagen finished 15th with a score of 236.10. Sarah Braun and Heather Britt finished 19th and 20th, respectively, in that event.

At the Georgia Tech Invitational, Jessica Doolittle finished 13th in the prelims with a score of 216.60. Tabitha Banks finished 16th at the meet while Emily Yoder came in 20th.
