LONDON, England– Clemson senior swimmer Chris Dart completed his time at the British Olympic Trials with a top 20 finish in the 200 backstroke on Thursday.
Dart, who is a dual citizen of the United States and Great Britain, placed 17th in the 200 backstroke with a personal-best long course time of 2:04.65. His swim followed up a ninth-place finish in the 100 backstroke earlier in the week, giving Clemson University solid representation overseas.
“I am proud of Chris producing two personal bests at his Olympic Trials,” Head Coach Christopher Ip said. “We will now return to Clemson and prepare for the Men’s NCAA Championships.”
Dart and his teammates will compete in the upcoming NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships from March 22-24 in Seattle, WA.
