Danny Alge Wins Hammer Throw Friday at Solid Orange Classic

Clemson, SC – Danny Alge of the Clemson men’s track & field team won the hammer throw competition on the first day of the Solid Orange Classic from the Rock Norman Outdoor Complex. Alge set a personal best and recorded a regional-qualifying mark with a toss of 200’9″, which ranks second in school history. It was an improvement of his previous best, which was 195’3″ at the Yellow Jacket Invitational three weekends ago.
