@ClemsonWTennis Signs Keisha Clousing to NLI

Keisha Clousing with her Athletic Director Mike Healy (L), and Dave Claypool (R), principal at WWHS  CLEMSON, SC – Head women’s tennis coach Nancy Harris announced that Keisha Clousing signed a National Letter of Intent on Wednesday. Clousing is a five-star recruit and one of the top-50 players nationally according to Tennisrecruiting.net.  “We are truly proud to welcome Keisha to the Clemson Family,” said Harris. “Her devotion to her own family, commitment to excellence on and off the court will serve her well as she becomes a future great Tiger. She is one of America’s top juniors and we are honored she has chosen Clemson to be her collegiate home.” Clousing won the 2012 Illinois High School Tennis State Championship, and is ranked as the top player overall in the state, and 34th in the nation.  She will join the program for the 2014 season. The Clemson team currently does not have any seniors, and finished last season 13th in the nation comprised solely of freshmen and sophomores.
