The Tigers (6-3) will take on UNLV (2-7), Creighton (4-5), and Oregon State (6-2) in the round-robin Scarlett Bracket at Cox Pavilion on the campus of UNLV.  All three games will be able to watch online. For audio, Thursday’s game will be TigerCast only, as the contest is at the same time as the Men’s Basketball game at Auburn. Friday and Saturday’s games will be on WCCP 104.9 FM, as well as on Tigercast.  The Tigers open with UNLV on Thursday at 8:00 pm EST in the second-ever meeting between the programs. Clemson appeared in the same tournament on Dec. 21-22, 1993, going 1-1, with the loss coming to the Rebels.  Clemson and Creighton have never before met, while Oregon State won, 82-75, in the programs’ only meeting on Dec. 16, 1984.  The Tigers enter the weekend in the top 50 in the nation in scoring defense, defensive field goal percentage, blocks per game and fouls per game.  Offensively, Clemson has shot better than .500 in each of the last two games, including a .579 mark in an 88-46 win over SC State on Saturday. In that contest, Clemson knocked down a program-record 12 three-point goals, led by a school-record eight from Kelly GramlichNOTES:

  • The Tigers are 5th in the ACC with 5.0 blocks per game; Jamison-Myers (11),  Chatman (10) & Pettaway (9) lead the way
  • Tigers averaging just 16.2 turnovers per game & 14.6 during streak
  • Tay leads all CU players in rebs (56), pts (88), FGM (35) & stls (12)
  • Chancie Dunn is a shooting team-best .556 (8th in ACC)
  • Kelly Gramlich set school mark with 8 3-pters made vs SC State
  • Quinyotta Pettaway is 16th on CU’s all-time rebounding list with 546
  • Chelsea Lindsay ranks 5th in ACC at 33.4 mins/game
