CLEMSON, SC – The Clemson volleyball team will wrap up the 2013 regular season with two matches in the Sunshine State this week. The Tigers (15-14, 9-9 ACC) will take on 16th-ranked Florida State (22-7, 15-3 ACC) at Tully Gym on Wednesday at 7 p.m. and Miami (17-11, 10-8 ACC) at the JL Knight Sports Complex on Friday at 7 p.m.   The Tigers are 19-30 all-time against the Seminoles and look to pick up their first win in the series since 2008. FSU knocked off the Tigers in 3-2 (19-25, 17-25, 25-23, 25-21, 15-8) in Clemson earlier this season.   Clemson holds a 11-8 advantage in the all-time series against Miami. The Hurricanes won the most recent matchup with the Tigers by a score of 3-1 (20-25, 25-19, 26-24, 25-20) at Jervey Gym back in October.   The Tigers entering Thanksgiving week having won three straight after sweeping their final two home matches of the season against Syracuse and Boston College last weekend.   The return of Karis Watson has been a big part of the Tigers’ recent success. The junior has registered 31 kills and 16 over her last three matches while hitting .351 during that stretch. Mo Simmons continues her push for ACC Player of the Year honors. The senior from Buford, GA, leads the conference in kills (4.48) and points (4.91) per set overall. Her 520 kills and 1,468 attacks rank in the top-ten in school history for single-season totals.
