@ClemsonVB Completes Comeback to Top Georgia in Five

CLEMSON, S.C. – The volleyball program emerged from a 2-0 deficit against 2013 NCAA Tournament participant Georgia to win, 3-2 (18-25, 22-25, 26-24, 25-17, 15-13) in its first spring exhibition match in Jervey Gym. Junior Kristin Faust led all players with 15 kills and had 17 digs, while freshman Megan Giardina had 44 assists, 15 digs, seven blocks, and five kills.  The Tigers came back from a two-sets-to-none deficit for the victory, something the squad did just once in the 2013 regular season.  Karis Watson had a double-double with 11 kills and 10 blocks, while Leah Perri had 12 kills and six blocks.  The Tigers return to spring matches on April 1 at Furman, before returning home to take on the Paladins and Presbyterian College on April 12.  Full 2014 Clemson Volleyball Spring Schedule Mar. 11: GEORGIA, W, 3-2 (18-25, 22-25, 26-24, 25-17, 15-13) Apr. 1: at Furman, time TBA Apr. 12: PRESBYTERIAN COLLEGE, 10 a.m.; FURMAN, 1 p.m.
