The ACC Tournament will be held on March 7-10 at the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, NC.
“This is a very challenging schedule,” said Clemson Head Coach Jim Davis. “Not being able to play in Littlejohn Coliseum in November and December will also make it more difficult. We will be playing top 25 teams, Penn State, Auburn, and South Carolina in November and December. We also have road trips to Western Kentucky and Miami (OH) that will also be very early tests for us. The Atlantic Coast Conference will also be very competitive from top to bottom.”
Clemson finished the 2001-02 season with a 17-12 record overall and finished fourth in the ACC standings with a 9-7 mark. The Lady Tigers advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the 14th time in the last 15 years. Davis will welcome back three starters and 10 letterwinners from last year’s team when preseason drills begin.
