Clemson?s Harrington Advances to Quarterfinals

Clemson’s Harrington Advances to Quarterfinals ATHENS, GA—Clemson’s Hunter Harrington advanced to the quarterfinal round of the First Division at the Southern Intercollegiates Men’s Tennis Tournament in Athens, GA Saturday. Harrington defeated Fafael Rondino of Alabama-Birmingham Saturday in the round of 16.  Harrington will play second-seeded Ben Wagland of Georgia on Sunday.   The Tigers’ Fernando Sala Sanchez advanced to the semifinals of the Third Division.   He will face Renato Lombardi of Barry on Sunday.     In doubles, the Tigers’ double team of Harrington and Daniel Straw advanced to the quarter-final round of the First Division.    The Tiger duo will face David Biosca and Roger Ordeig of East Tennessee State Sunday.    The Southern Intercollegiates is an individual tournament with no teams scores being kept.    Clemson’s results in the tournament follow: Southern Intercollegiate Championships Division I Singles Round of 64 Fabian Groetsch, Barry def.
