Clemson Women’s Track & Field Celebrates 2011 ACC Indoor Championship

ClemsonTigers.com caught up with Director of Track & Field Lawrence Johnson on Wednesday morning to talk about his women’s track and field team’s 2011 ACC Championship title, won at Rector Field House in Blacksburg, VA last weekend.

The championship was the school’s second consecutive ACC indoor championship at Rector Field House. The Tigers accumulated 152 points, finishing with a +51.5 margin over second-place Florida State. It was the third overall ACC indoor championship in Clemson women’s track & field history.

Clemson finished the conference meet with four individual event titles and one first-place relay finish. In addition, seven other Tigers earned All-ACC honors in 10 individual events.
