CLEMSON, SC – The Clemson women’s track and field team will open its 2004 outdoor season on Saturday as the Lady Tigers host the Clemson Relays at the Rock Norman Outdoor Track and Field Complex. Track events are slated to begin at 10:00 AM with the 5000m run and conclude at 5:50 with the 4x400m relay. The field events will begin with the javelin throw at 10:00 AM, and the final women’s field event is the shot put at 3:00 PM.
In running events on Saturday, Marquita Dortch, Christina Moore, Jelyn Quick will compete in the 100m hurdles at 12:20 PM, and Dortch and Quick will double in the 400m hurdles at 3:35 PM. The Lady Tigers will also field relay teams in the 4x200m and 4x400m relays.
Christina Moore, Michelle Rogers will compete in the long jump at 1:00 PM, and Moultrie, Nyenke and Rogers will also represent the Lady Tigers in the triple jump at 3:00 PM. Krystal Woods will compete in the javelin throw slated for 10:00 AM, and Allison Bradshaw and Della Clark will compete in the shot put at 3:00 PM. Bradshaw, Clark and Woods will also contest the discus at 2:00 PM and the hammer throw at 12:00 PM.
