Clemson Women’s Track and Field To Open Indoor Season Saturday

CLEMSON, SC – The Clemson women’s track and field team will open its 2001-2002 indoor season this Saturday. The Lady Tigers will compete at the West Virginia Invitational in Morgantown.

Under head coach Marcia Noad, Clemson completed its 2001 indoor season with a third-place finish at the NCAA Championships. The Lady Tigers return NCAA National Champion Marcia Smith, three-time All-American Jamine Moton, All-American Shannon Murray, as well as ACC Champions Joana Costa, Kyana Elder and Sheri Smith. All-ACC and NCAA qualifier Terri Robinson will also return to the track for the Tigers.
