Clemson Women’s Track And Field To Compete At Notre Dame’s Meyo Invitational

CLEMSON, SC – The Clemson women’s track and field team will travel to South Bend, IN, to compete in the University of Notre Dame’s Meyo Invitational this weekend. The meet is scheduled to begin on Friday at 6:00 PM, and end at 5:00 PM on Saturday. Clemson will compete against a field that includes teams from Arkansas, Maryland, Michigan, Central Michigan, Eastern Michigan, Windsor, Michigan State and Tulane.

The Lady Tigers will begin competition in the weight throw at 6:00 PM Friday, as Allison Bradshaw represent Clemson in the event. Also at 6:00 PM, Angela Thomas, is slated to begin following the men’s event at 6:00 PM.

Clemson will resume competition at 11:00 AM Saturday morning, as Bradshaw competes in the shot put. Angela Thomas and Dortch will compete in the 400m. Laura Ann Rukat and Jennifer Barton will compete in the 800m at 3:10 PM, and Ulfarsdottir, JaToya Moore, Murray, Williams, Rutherford, Thomas, Danielle Whaley and Cruse will compete in the 200m at 3:50 PM. At 4:45 PM, Phillips, Barton and Rukat will compete in the 1000m, and the meet will conclude at 4:55 PM with the 4×440 yard relay.
