Clemson Women’s Track And Field To Compete At Minnesota Classic

CLEMSON, S.C. – The Clemson women’s track and field team will compete in the Minnesota Classic this Saturday, Jan. 25. The meet is scheduled to begin at 11:30 AM.

In the running events, Jennifer Barton is entered in the 800m and mile run. Marquita Dortch will compete in the 60m hurdles, 400m, and as a member of the 4x400m relay team, while Keshia Haughton will compete in the 60m hurdles and 800m. JaToya Moore is entered in the 60m dash and 200m, and will compete as a member of the 4x400m relay team. Casey Phillips will run the mile and on the distance medley relay team. Laura Ann Rukat will join Phillips in both the mile run and on the distance medley relay. Shakirah Rutherford will compete in the 400m or 600m, and also in the distance medley relay. Angela Thomas will be the fourth member of the distance medley relay team, and will also compete in the 60m hurdles and 600m. Danielle Whaley is entered in the 60m dash, 200m and 4x400m relay, while Kaprice Williams will compete in the same events.

In the field events, Allison Bradshaw will compete in the weight throw and shot put, while Joana Costa is entered in the pole vault. Katie Pickett will compete in the high jump.
