Clemson Women’s Cross Country Team Competes In Furman Invitational

GREENVILLE, S.C. – The Clemson women’s cross country team competed in the Furman Invitational held Saturday at the Furman Cross Country Course. The Lady Tigers finished 13th of 28 teams in the 6K race. Brigham Young won the race with 25 points, the University of Guelph finished second with 94 and ACC rival Virginia took third with 117 points.

Clemson was led by senior Perry Fields who recorded a time of 24:04 to finish 51st . Lauren Saulino finished 57th in 24:18, and Kristi Toothman was 72nd with a time of 24:49. Renee Keydoszius completed the course in 25:00 to finish 83rd, and Laura Ann Rukat was 105th with a time of 25:35. Evan Ross was 158th in 28:18, and Tiffany Charles finished 162nd in 29:39.

Clemson will return to action on Saturday, Oct. 27, as the Lady Tigers play host to the ACC Cross Country Championships.
