Clemson Women’s Cross Country Seventh At Charlotte Relays

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Clemson women’s cross country team opened its 2003 campaign at the Charlotte Relays held Saturday at McAlpine Park. The Lady Tigers placed seventh as a team, and were led by the tandem of Casey Phillips and Renee Keydoszius.

Phillips and Keydoszius finished fifth of 48 teams, posting a time of 22:00 over the 6K course. Each member of the relay team covered 3K of the race. Jennifer Barton and Hannah Wright placed 23rd with a time of 24:00, and Shannon Day and Jelyn Quick completed the race in 25:16. Jennifer Hooten and Keri Deily placed 33rd with a time of 25:45.

The Lady Tiger cross country team returns to action on Sept. 13 when Clemson travels to Winston-Salem, NC to compete in the Pre-ACC meet.
