Clemson Women’s Cross Country Finishes Third At Wake Forest Invitational

WINSTON-SALEM, NC – The Clemson women’s cross country team placed third at the Wake Forest Invitational held Saturday morning. Wake Forest won the meet with 21 points, Georgia Tech was second with 45 points, and Clemson finished third with 65 points.

The Lady Tigers were led by sophomore Casey Phillips, who covered the 6K course in 18:23. Hannah Wright placed 17th in 20:11. Laura Ann Rukat ran a 20:14 to finish 18th, and Jennifer Barton was 19th with a time of 20:18. Jennifer Hooten and Katie Boehm posted times of 21:16 to place 24th and 25th, respectively.

Clemson women’s cross country will return to action on October 4, as the Lady Tigers compete in the East Carolina Invitational.
