CLEMSON, SC – The Clemson women’s basketball team will play host to Anderson University in an exhibition game on Tuesday night. The two squads will be play at 7:00 pm at Littlejohn Coliseum. Tickets for the event are $6 for adults and $4 for students. The game will be broadcast by WCCP-FM (104.9) with Dan Scott serving as play-by-play and Kanetra Queen doing color commentary.
The Lady Tigers return six letterwinners for the 2006-07 campaign. Carrie Whitehurst returns for her senior season at Clemson, while Adrianne Bradshaw, D’Lesha Lloyd and Tasha Taylor are all entering their third seasons with the Lady Tiger Program. Taylor is Clemson’s lone returning starter, as she started all 29 games at the point guard position last season. Moreemi Davis will be back in action this year after red-shirting last season, and Susan Yenser will begin her sophomore year with the Lady Tigers.
Clemson will kick off the season at home on Friday night against Arkansas at 7:00 pm.
Anderson University posted a 16-11 overall record last season and recently fell to Duke in an exhibition contest in Durham, NC.
