CLEMSON, SC – The Clemson men’s tennis team will play host to ACC-foe Wake Forest on Friday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. at the Hoke Sloan Tennis Center.
Clemson is 13-4 overall and 0-2 in the ACC. Clemson is ranked is ranked 58th nationally. The Tigers are coming off a 5-2 victory over South Carolina Wednesday.
The Tigers’ Derek DiFazio is ranked 106th nationally according to the latest ITA rankings. Dominique Maden had a 15-6 record overall to lead the Tigers in overall singles wins. He is also 10-5 in dual matches. Gerardo Meza is 10-5 overall in singles this season.
Wake Forest is 6-6 overall and 0-2 in league play this season. The Demon Deacons are ranked 39th nationally.
This will be the 67th meeting between Clemson and Wake Forest on the tennis courts. Clemson holds a commanding 42-24 lead in the overall series. In matches played at Clemson, the Tigers lead the series 22-7. The series started in 1925.
