Overall thoughts:
“Good opening performance from our guys. Pleased with our efficiency.
“Good crisp ball movement and decision making, which I was pleased with.
“Pleased with our defensive discipline. Second game in a row with a big lead and guarding well in the second half and not losing discipline, which is important for us.”
On Donte Grantham’s first performance:
(Donte) Grantham played well in his first game. He’s comfortable and the game doesn’t seem too fast for him right now. He’s aggressive, making great plays at a couple of different positions. He’s a good facilitator ball moves well with him out there. Think he’s played very well for a freshman in his first college game.”
On Rod Hall’s 10 assists:
“(Rod) Hall had a really good floor game with ten assists. Just as happy getting other guys shots and helping them score. Very unselfish guy.”
On Jaron Blossomgame’s health:
“A full offseason has really helped (Jaron) Blossomgame from a health and basketball. More explosive and starting play more like a complete player. He’s such a hard worker that you’re going to see some development.
Just a very good solid game tonight.”
