  • Auburn defeated Clemson by a score of 66-64 on Thursday to put the ACC Tigers at 8-3 overall heading into the holiday break.
  • Clemson fell to 0-2 on the road this season, both coming against Southeastern Conference opponents.
  • Thursday’s game was Clemson’s first decided by five points or less this season.
  • The two teams were tied at 34 at the break, the first time this season Clemson was tied going into halftime.
  • Clemson lost the rebound battle, 35-32. It was the first time the Tigers lost the rebound margin since UMass owned a +4 advantage on Nov. 24.
  • Clemson committed just seven turnovers Thursday, its second-lowest total of the season.
  • Auburn shot 56 percent in the opening half, the highest by a Clemson opponent all season.

INDIVIDUAL

  • Rod Hall made his 50th career start Thursday at Auburn and matched a season-high with 16 points.
  • Hall made multiple three-point goals for the first time in 73 career games. He buried two from the top of the arc inside the final minute of the opening half.
  • Hall has now scored in double figures in seven games, three more than he had in his entire career in two seasons entering 2013-14.
  • K.J. McDaniels scored right on his average with 18 points Thursday and made 7-of-14 field goals.
  • McDaniels tallied two blocked shots in the game, and he now trails Glen McCants for ninth place in the Clemson record books with 110 in his career.
  • Jordan Roper scored double figures in a second straight game, only the second time this season he has done that in back to back contests.
