Clemson Volleyball Will Not Compete At South Florida

Sept. 12, 2001

CLEMSON, S.C. – All Atlantic Coast Conference athletic events through Saturday were postponed, ACC Commissioner John Swofford announced on Wednesday. The action is the result of the terrorist attacks in New York and Washington on Tuesday.

The Clemson volleyball team will not compete at the South Florida Invitational this weekend in Tampa, FL. The Tigers were scheduled to play Hofstra, South Florida and St. Louis.

Clemson will reschedule its match with South Carolina originally scheduled for Wednesday night. The make-up date will be announced in the near future.
