Also returning is two-year starter Lia Proctor, from whom Head Coach Jolene Jordan Hoover anticipates a big season on the outside in 2008. Meghan Hinemeyer and Cansu Ozdemir are entering their sophomore campaigns while a deep class of newcomers arrived on campus over the summer.

Signees Brittany Fennell, Lacy Hayes and Brooke Kohler enrolled in classes in July, while walk-ons Morgann Mitchell, Katie Sharpe, Juliana Sobczyk have also joined the program. Lisa Jedlicka will look to see action on the court after red-shirting the 2007 season and transfer Jessica Williams will play a vital role in practice and off the court.

The Tigers will kick off the year with the 18th Annual Big Orange Bash on Aug. 29-30. Clemson will face Syracuse at 7:00 pm on Friday night before taking on Florida International and Charleston Southern on Saturday.
