Clemson Volleyball Announces Spring Schedule

CLEMSON, SC – The Clemson volleyball team announced its spring scrimmage schedule on Thursday. The Tigers have three dates scheduled with a total of four matches on tap.

The highlight of the schedule is an April 9 home round-robin tournament featuring Clemson, Furman, and Georgia State. Clemson will play Furman at 9:30 AM, followed by Furman and Georgia State at 11:00 AM. and then Clemson and Georgia State at 12:30 PM. The team will host alumni weekend, welcoming in former players to the matches.

The Tigers will also travel Georgia Tech on March 16 and to Georgia on April 6.

Clemson is coming off an 18-13 season, in which they narrowly missed the NCAA Tournament, which would have been a fourth straight selection. The Tigers lost only senior libero Cansu Ozdemir, and return two-time All-ACC selection Sandra Adeleye, as well as ACC All-Freshman selections Hannah Brenner and Mo Simmons.

Also returning is ACC blocking leader, Alexa Rand. Freshman Kamryn Sherman has already enrolled and will take part in spring practice and the scrimmages.
