Clemson Volleyball Announces Spring Schedule

CLEMSON, S.C. – The Clemson volleyball team will play in four matches and play host to the Clemson Spring Fling Tournament during March and April as announced by Tiger head coach Jolene Jordan Hoover.

The Tigers will open their exhibition spring slate at the University of Florida on Saturday, Mar. 16. Clemson will also play Illinois State that day. On Monday, Mar. 18, Clemson will travel to Orlando, FL, to play the University of Central Florida.

Clemson will return home on April 6 to play host to the 2002 Spring Fling Tournament. The Tigers will compete against the College of Charleston, Wofford and Western Carolina.

The Tigers will wrap up their spring schedule with a match at the University of Georgia on Apr. 17.

“This is going to be a fun and challenging spring, especially with the Florida trip,” said Hoover. “We will face great competition against Florida and Illinois State, and then we will be able to mix in fun with a team trip to Disney World. This is an important spring as well because we return a young squad with 11 members.”
