Clemson Travels to USTA Collegiate Court Invitational

CLEMSON, S.C. – The Clemson men’s tennis team begins competition Thursday in the USTA Collegiate Clay Court Invitational presented by VISIT FLORIDA. The tournament will run from Thursday, Oct. 30- Sunday, Nov. 2 and will take place between three sites: Grand Cypress, Isleworth, and the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Fla.

Two players will be competing for Clemson this weekend, seniors Hunter Harrington and Alejandro Augusto.  

Joining Clemson at the event will be players from 13 other Division I teams. Florida State, Auburn, Columbia, Florida, Georgia Tech, Miami, Penn State, Princeton, South Alabama, Stetson, Central Florida and Virginia Tech round out the field. 

The first round of singles and doubles will be on Thursday with rounds continuing on Friday. The singles and doubles semifinals will be on Saturday as well as consolation rounds. Final rounds will be on Sunday.

Select matches of the tournament will be shown on ESPN3. For fans that want to follow along, results will be tweeted out at the completion of a match from @2014_CCI and @ClemsonMTennis will have updates as well.
