The Clemson women’s team has won two straight meets for the first time all season. They are coming off a weekend where they beat Gardner-Webb on Friday night, and defeated Georgia Tech Saturday afternoon. The Lady Tigers are currently tied with N.C. State in the ACC standings. They are both 1-4 in the conference. Overall, Clemson has a 3-6 record, while the Wolfpack women sit at 2-5. Clemson is 17-12 all-time against N.C. State with their last win coming last season.
Clemson will look to hand the Wolfpack men their first conference loss of the season Saturday. N.C. State is 4-0, and 5-1 overall on the year. Their only loss came against South Carolina, a team that Clemson already defeated this season. The Tigers are 4-4 (2-3 ACC) with two meets remaining. With wins this week in Raleigh and next week at Duke, Clemson could finish with an above .500 conference record. The Tigers are 11-35 all-time versus the Wolfpack. However, Clemson has managed to win the past five meets.
The meet will start at 11:00 a.m. and will be held in N.C. State’s William Casey Aquatics Center.
