- The Tigers enter Head Coach Audra Smith’s third season with eight returning letterwinners, including two starters, and six newcomers.
- Clemson’s roster is once again one of the youngest in the country, with one junior, seven sophomores and six freshmen.
- In 2014-15, the Tigers went 9-21 overall, including an 8-5 record in regular season nonconference games.
- Sophomore and returning leading scorer Nelly Perry recorded 19 points, six rebounds, four steals and three assists in the Tigers’ 78-48 exhibition win over St. Thomas on Nov. 8.
- Sophomore Lexi Carter scored 10 points and freshman Aliyah Collier notched nine points and eight rebounds in the Tigers’ win over St. Thomas.
Anderson Notes:
- The Trojans won the South Atlantic Conference regular season Championship and reached the Sweet Sixteen of the NCAA Division II Tournament in 2014-15.
- Third-year Head Coach Jimmy Garrity, a former Clemson assistant coach, led the Trojans to a 27-5 record last season and has posted a 43-19 record in his two seasons at the helm in Anderson.
- Anderson was picked to win the SAC this season by the conference’s coaches. Senior Jasmine Franklin and junior Alexis Dillard both garnered Preseason All-SAC honors.
