Clemson (9-2) is coming off of a 56-36 win over SC State on Monday, Dec. 18 at Littlejohn Coliseum. Junior Nelly Perry led the team in scoring with 17 points.
Perry leads the Tigers in scoring (14.5 ppg), assists (3.5 apg) and minutes played (31.9 mpg).
Sophomore Aliyah Collier leads the team in rebounding (6.7 rpg) and is third on the team in scoring at 9.1 ppg.
Sophomore Danielle Edwards has started all 11 games for the Tigers at the point guard position and is second on the team in scoring at 9.6 ppg. She leads the team in steals (2.9 spg).
Clemson held SC State scoreless for the entire second quarter on Dec. 18 and held the Bulldogs to just 36 total points.
Freshman Jaia Alexander played 30 minutes against No. 6/6 South Carolina in Columbia on Dec. 15, scoring 11 points and grabbing five rebounds.
Before falling to #25 Oregon on Dec. 12, Clemson won its first eight games of the season, the program’s best start since the 1998-99 season.
Clemson has won the turnover battle in every game this season except for one (Oregon) and is currently +5.0 in turnover margin.
