Clemson Track and Field to Host Orange And Purple Classic

CLEMSON, S.C. – The Clemson men’s and women’s track and field teams will host the Orange and Purple Classic on Sunday at the Rock Norman Track Complex. The field events are scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m. with the women’s hammer and men’s javelin. The running events will begin at 1:55 p.m. with the men’s 4x100m relay. The last event of the meet, the women’s 4x400m relay, is scheduled to begin at 5:55 p.m. The complete results will be available on the web at www.clemsontigers.com.

The Orange and Purple Classic will also be the finals for the fifth-annual Clemson Tigers Relays for the Oconee-Pickens Elementary School children. Students from the third, fourth and fifth grades will compete in 8×75 yard relays during the track meet. The schools that will be competing this Sunday are listed below.
