Clemson, SC – The Clemson swimming and diving teams will be back in the pool Saturday as they take on N.C. State at McHugh Natatorium. The men’s team is 7-3 (2-3 ACC) after dropping a tightly contested meet against North Carolina. Attila Ruszka led the way for Clemson as he picked up three event wins. The Lady Tigers fell to 8-5 (2-4 ACC) with their loss to the Tar Heels two weeks ago.

The Lady Tigers will look to duplicate their 134-107 victory over the Wolfpack from last season. The N.C. State women’s team comes into the meet 3-6 (0-4 ACC). Overall, Clemson has taken 18 of the 30 meets against N.C. State, including three of the last four.

On the men’s side, Clemson lost to N.C. State in Raleigh a season ago, 106-131. However, the Tigers had taken five straight meets before last year’s loss. Clemson has not lost to the Wolfpack at home since the 1996-97 season. All-time, the Tigers are 11-36 against N.C. State, with their first meet coming in 1954.

The meet time is scheduled for 11 a.m. and will be in the 16 event format. The meet will be broadcast live on the Internet via ACC Select and can be accessed by visiting www.accselect.com or clicking on the link at the top of the page.
