CLEMSON, S.C. — The Clemson Track and Field program has announced its full schedule for the indoor and outdoor seasons. The indoor slate includes seven regular season meets before the ACC and NCAA Championships, highlighted by five meets to be held at Clemson’s Indoor Track & Field Complex.
The first meet of the season will be the Clemson Opener, taking place on December 3. The Orange and Purple Elite and Clemson Invite will occur on back-to-back weekends, Jan. 8 and Jan. 14-15.
The Tigers will return home for the Bob Pollock Meet on Jan. 28-29, followed by the final home meet of the season, the Tiger Paw Invite from Feb. 11-12. The team will have the following weekend off from competition before traveling to Virginia Tech for the Indoor ACC Championships from Feb. 24-26.
The team returns several All-Americans, including Giano Roberts (short sprints and hurdles) and Roje Stona (throws). Newcomers Dashinelle Dyer (sprints), Tarees Rhoden (middle distance), Cameron Rose (sprints) and Aman Thornton (middle distance) project to make an immediate impact on the men’s side, while Ockera Myrie (sprints) should provide a spark to the women’s team.
The members of Clemson’s cross country team, who just finished competition this past weekend at ACC Championships will compete in distance events.
The outdoor season begins on March 18-19 at Georgia Tech. The Tigers will participate in nine outdoor meets before the ACC Championships in Durham, N.C. on May 12-14.
