CLEMSON, S.C. – The Clemson Lady Tiger basketball team will play host to Wake Forest in an Atlantic Coast Conference women’s basketball game on Wednesday, January 21, at 7:00 p.m. in Littlejohn Coliseum.
Clemson has a 13-3 record overall and a 3-2 mark in the ACC. Wake Forest will enter the game with an 8-8 record overall and a 1-4 mark in league play. Clemson is coming off a 75-61 win over Georgia Tech on Sunday afternoon.
The Lady Tigers are led in scoring by Lakeia Stokes with a 19.0 ppg. average. She also leads the team in rebounding with an 8.5 rpg. mark. Stokes also leads the team in assists (65) and steals (40).
Wake Forest is led in scoring by Liz Strunk with a 13.3 ppg. average. She also leads the team in rebounding with a 5.1 rpg. mark.
This will be the 48th meeting between Clemson and Wake Forest on the basketball court. Clemson leads the overall series 38-9.
