CLEMSON, SC – The Clemson Lady Tiger basketball team will play at Wake Forest on Sunday afternoon (February 22) at the Lawrence Joel Memorial Coliseum in Winston-Salem, NC at 1:00 p.m. The game will be televised live by Fox Sports Net South.
Clemson has a 16-8 record overall, and a 6-7 mark in the ACC. Wake Forest has a 10-14 record overall, and a 3-10 mark in league play. Clemson is coming off a 59-47 win over Georgia Tech Thursday night.
The Lady Tigers are led in scoring by Lakeia Stokes with a 16.9 ppg. average. She also leads the team in rebounding with a 7.3 rpg. mark. Stokes also leads the team in assists (90) and steals (60).
Liz Strunk leads the Demon Deacons in scoring (13.6 ppg.) and rebounding (5.1 rpg.)
This will be the 49th meeting between Clemson and Wake Forest on the basketball court. Clemson leads the overall series 39-9, including a 71-68 win over the Demon Deacons on January 21, at Clemson, SC.
