CLEMSON, S.C. – The Clemson Lady Tiger basketbll team will play host to Virginia Thursday night at 7:00 p.m. in Littlejohn Coliseum.
Clemson has a 16-8 record overall and a 7-6 mark in the ACC. Chrissy Floyd leads the Lady Tigers in scoring with a 17.2 ppg average. Erin Batth is second on the team in scoring with a 13.3 ppg average. Batth also leads the team in rebounding with 8.8 rpg. Krystal Scott leads the team in assists with 74 or 3.08 apg.
This will be the 51st meeting between Clemson and Virginia on the basketball court. Virginia leads the overall series 28-22.
Clemson defeated Virginia 87-71 on January 15, in Charlottesville, VA. Marci Glenney had a career-high 21 points in this game. Chrissy Floyd had 20 points.
Virginia has a 16-10 record overall, and a 7-6 mark in the ACC. Schuye LaRue leads the Cavaliers in scoring (17.8 ppg.) and rebounding (11.5 rpg.). Virginia Head Coach Debbie Ryan is in her 24th season at Virginia.
