CLEMSON, SC – The Clemson Lady Tiger basketball team will play host to Virginia in an Atlantic Coast Conference women’s basketball game on Sunday, January 25, at 2:00 p.m. in Littlejohn Coliseum.
Clemson has a 14-3 record overall and a 4-2 mark in the ACC. As of Friday, the Cavaliers have an 8-8 record overall and a 2-3 mark in league play. Virginia will play Florida State on Friday night in Tallahassee, FL. Clemson is coming off a 71-68 win over Wake Forest on Wednesday.
The Lady Tigers are led in scoring by Lakeia Stokes with an 18.6 ppg. average. She also leads the team in rebounding with an 8.3 rpg. mark. Stokes also leads the team in assists (69) and steals (42).
Virginia is led in scoring by Brandi Teamer with a 12.1 ppg. average. She also leads the team in rebounding with a 5.8 rpg. mark. This will be the 57th meeting between Clemson and Virginia on the basketball court.
The Cavaliers lead the overall series 29-27. The Lady Tigers defeated Virginia 58-55 in Charlottesville, VA on January 2.
