CLEMSON, S.C. — The Clemson Lady Tiger Basketball team will face North Carolina Sunday afternoon (January 13) at 1:00 p.m. in Littlejohn Coliseum.
Clemson will enter the game with a 10-5 record overall and a 2-2 mark in the ACC. North Carolina has a 13-3 record overall and a 3-1 mark in the ACC. The Tar Heels are ranked 17th in the Associated Press poll and 16th in the USA Today poll.
Clemson is led in scoring by Chrissy Floyd with a 17.3 ppg. average. Maggie Slosser leads the squad in rebounding with a 5.8 rpg. mark. North Carolina is led in scoring by Nikki Teasley with a 16.3 ppg. average. Chrystal Baptist leads the Tar Heels in rebounding with an 8.9 rpg. mark.
This will be the 60th meeting between Clemson and North Carolina on the basketball court. The Tar Heels lead the overall series 33-26. In games played at Littlejohn Coliseum, the Lady Tigers lead the series, 14-9.
