CLEMSON, SC-The Clemson Lady Tiger basketball team will play host to 12th-ranked North Carolina in an Atlantic Coast Conference women’s basketball game on Thursday, February 5, at 7:00 p.m. in Littlejohn Coliseum.
North Carolina is ranked 12th by the Associated Press and 13th by the USA Today poll. Clemson has a 15-5 record overall and a 5-4 mark in the ACC. North Carolina has a 17-3 record overall and a 7-2 mark in league play. Clemson is coming off a 78-60 loss to second ranked Duke on Monday night.
The Lady Tigers are led in scoring by Lakeia Stokes with an 18.4 ppg. average. She also leads the team in rebounding with an 8.0 rpg. mark. Stokes also leads the team in assists (79) and steals (51).
Camille Little leads the Tar Heels in scoring (14.9 ppg.) and rebounding (8.4 rpg.) This will be the 66th meeting between Clemson and North Carolina on the basketball court. The Tar Heels lead the overall series 39-26.
